There’s nothing like young love. Even being around it makes you feel all happy and googly. Or maybe that's just me? I’m the kind of person who’s a true cynic when it comes to love—forever side-eyeing romantic clichés and rolling my eyes at sappy love songs. But something happens when I’m behind the camera, capturing those love-soaked moments. All that cynicism? Poof, it just disappears. I become someone I’m not even used to—a person who actually believes in the power of love, if only for a couple of hours.

This was exactly what happened during my recent session with Emma and Mike. These two—oh, these two—had me head over heels in their young love bubble. They’re the kind of couple that makes you believe in love stories all over again, even if you’re the type to scoff at the idea of ‘soulmates.’ Their chemistry was undeniable, the kind that just spills over into the air and makes everything around them glow a little brighter.

I had so much fun with these two. My usual stoic self was practically giddy as I prompted them to interact, to just be themselves. And let me tell you, they nailed it. You could see it in the way they looked at each other, the way they laughed, the way they just fit together like two puzzle pieces meant to be connected. Smitten doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The only downside? When the session had to end. I mean, we were heading back to the parking lot, and there I was, spotting yet another perfect spot for a shot. "We gotta take some pictures here!" I’d think, dragging them back for just a few more snaps. But then, my stomach growled and there was no ignoring that sign to wrap things up. I had to admit defeat and let them go, much to my dismay.

So, congratulations, Emma and Mike! You two are embarking on a wonderful journey, and if these photos are any indication, it’s going to be filled with endless love, laughter, and maybe even a little bit of magic. Just promise me one thing—when you look at these pictures, remember to cherish the moments, the smiles, and yes, even the photographer who turned from a cynic into a believer, if only for a day.
