Welcome seniors

Congratulations on reaching this exciting milestone in your life! It is an honor that you have chosen me to capture this special moment. My top priority is to ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease during the session. Even if you're not used to being in front of the camera or don't particularly enjoy having your picture taken, I will do everything in my power to make sure you feel like your best self. And of course, I'll add in some cheesy jokes to keep the mood light and fun. My ultimate goal is to showcase just how incredible and one-of-a-kind you truly are.

FIRST THINGS FIRST, BOOK YOUR SESSION.

If you're looking to book a Senior Session with me, then you'll be happy to know that I start booking in the summer before your senior year and go all the way until the beginning of November. To make sure you secure your spot, I recommend scheduling your session as soon as possible instead of waiting until the last minute. To schedule, simply click the button below and you'll be taken to a new page where you can enter your contact information. Once we settle on a date, I'll send you an official booking e-mail. Easy peasy!

WHERE WE DOING THIS?

When you're planning for your session, it's crucial to consider the lighting of the location. Direct sunlight can result in squinting and shadows, so be mindful of that when choosing a spot. Additionally, it's important to think about the overall vibe you want to create and let that guide your decision-making. Keep in mind that many of the images will be up close, so the overall feel of the location is what truly matters. If you're having a hard time deciding, feel free to visit my locations page for some inspiration. Remember, it's essential to make a decision quickly to ensure you have enough time to acquire any necessary permissions and permits.

WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?

When it comes to choosing what to wear for your session, I always recommend wearing something that fits well and makes you feel confident. Comfort is also key, especially when it comes to footwear that fits the location. You can always bring a few extra outfits to switch things up, but just be mindful of distracting prints, logos, and bright colors that might take away from the overall look.

WHAT ARE YOU

GOING TO BRING ALONG?

If there was one object that represents your high school years, what would it be? Is it your camera? A football? A skateboard? A musical instrument? All of these things are really important for telling your own story. Bring them along! But remember to keep it real. Authenticity is in the details.

WHO'S COMING?

I just wanted to let you know that when we have our session, it's always great to have at least one parent or guardian with us. I've found that having a parent around helps seniors feel more comfortable and relaxed, which is what I always aim for. Plus, parents are awesome for holding extra clothing changes and telling some hilarious "parent" jokes that always bring a smile to our faces. They're also great for letting me know when you might need a little break because I never want to push you too hard!

If you have a sibling or friend who wants to join, that's totally fine too! I just ask that we keep the group small and try to minimize distractions so that we can focus on you and your needs. After all, this session is all about you!

SO, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

SNEAK PEEKS

After your session, I’ll be sharing your same-day sneak peeks. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see them like everyone else when I post them. You can expect 3-5 sneak peeks to be shared the night of your session and you are welcome to share them anywhere you’d like.

GALLERY DELIVERY

Editing your final gallery usually takes around 14 days. I want to make sure I offer you a great variety of images and edit them to perfection, so it does take me a little while. Once it's ready, I'll send you an email with the link to your final gallery. From there, you'll be able to download, share, and print all your high-resolution digital images. To access your gallery, you'll need to log in with a password and your email address. This is for your safety, so you can download your images without worrying about random people getting access to them. And, while you're there, you can let me know which photo you'd like to use in your yearbook. Just keep in mind that the photo should be simple and not too busy, since it'll be pretty small.
