I watched the weather like a hawk. Seriously, I always do. No rain, it said. All is good, it said. Spoiler alert: the weather app lied. When I showed up to Judith's session, the drizzle started. When Judith came, the drops were beginning. With my reflector as my umbrella, we quickly ran for the trees, hoping for some respite from the rain, which seemed to keep raining.

Judith was a champ. Neither of us wanted to reschedule this session since the yearbook deadline was looming. So we marched on in the mud and the rain. I will admit this is the first time I've been caught in the rain for a photo session, but I kinda liked the look of it. And despite these less-than-ideal conditions, the rain added a magical element to Judith's photos. The soft light filtered through the trees, creating an ethereal glow. The raindrops on her clothes and the glistening leaves added a unique texture to the images.

As we wrapped up the session, drenched and covered in mud, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. This was a session neither of us would forget. It was a testament to Judith's resilience and willingness to adapt (and perhaps my misplaced trust in a weather app). In the end, the unexpected rainstorm turned into a blessing in disguise. Judith's photos have a distinctive, memorable quality that perfectly captures her spirit and determination. Here's to you, Judith, and the unforgettable experience we shared!
