When you start to do this long enough, you begin to get clients you've known since they were babies, and then, suddenly, they are graduating high school. What the heck? I was honored that I was asked to take Kate's senior photos; she is my best friend's daughter, and she's gorgeous and adorable and very easy to direct and photograph. I had a blast giving her some odd prompts, making her giggle, and then trying to capture every side of her personality. While we almost died going up a one-lane road to a look-off point off Cuesta Grade, where we were met with thick, cold fog instead of a beautiful sunset, the ominous fog still made some cool pics. Kate, you're a treasure. Congratulations!
