Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and food—lots and lots of food. But here on the Central Coast, it also means warm weather, really warm weather. While most of you are bundled up in flannels, beanies, and long johns, we’re sporting the same attire despite the 80-degree heat. Oh, the sacrifices we make for fashion!

Soon enough, the weather will snap, and we’ll finally get some cooler days—around 60 degrees or so. But until then, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with a lovely family and a dear friend, capturing some wonderful connections amidst our unique fall climate.

Here’s to a Thanksgiving full of warmth, both from the weather and the heart.
