Photographing senior boys can be tricky. A lot of them show up acting like they'd rather be anywhere else. AJ made that pretty clear from the beginning. He even said he'd rather be doing homework than taking senior photos. That was a first.

But once we got started, it was surprisingly smooth. I kept things moving quickly and tried not to drag it out. My goal was simple, get what we need before he mentally checks out.

Turns out, AJ was a natural. He nailed every shot without a lot of effort. No retakes, no fuss, just solid photos and a quiet confidence that came through in every frame.

Congratulations, AJ. Your photos turned out great, even if it wasn’t your favorite way to spend the afternoon.

If you’re thinking about a senior session in Los Alamos, I’d love to help you plan it.
