Newborn Sessions
Quiet moments.
Just as they are.
These sessions are slow, baby-led, and centered on connection. No stiff setups, no overdoing it — just the beauty of this season as it really feels.
Newborn Sessions
In the quiet of,
new beginnings.
That newborn scent. The tiny sighs. The way they curl into your arms like they have always belonged there. Those first weeks are fleeting, tender, and somehow full of everything.
My newborn sessions are soft, simple, and baby-led. Natural light, gentle direction, and a whole lot of patience. No rigid posing. No strict timelines. Just the quiet beauty of new life and the love already surrounding it.
Before long, those tiny fingers will be reaching for the dog bowl and laughing at things that make no sense to anyone else. It all changes faster than you expect. Let’s make sure you remember what it felt like when they fit just right in your arms.
“This life was placed gently in your arms for a reason.”
These sessions are about presence. The real moments. The ones already slipping by.

The Experience
What to
expect
Here's what a newborn session with me actually looks like — no props, no rushing, no perfectly timed anything.
01
A relaxed pace
We typically spend 1.5–2 hours together — not rushing through a shot list, but following your baby's lead. Fed, settled, and peaceful is the goal. Everything else follows.
02
In your home
There's something about your own space that can't be replicated. Your light, your smell, your things. I come to you — just open the door.
03
Keep it close
Just the people who live there — parents, siblings, maybe a grandparent if they're in town. A calm, quiet space makes a world of difference for a brand new baby.
04
Book early
Newborns are most sleepy and curly in the first 10–14 days. Reach out during your second trimester to hold your spot — once baby arrives, those first weeks go fast.
05
What to wear
Simple and neutral. Soft tones, natural fabrics, nothing too busy. I'll send a full style guide after booking so you feel completely prepared.

Kind Words
"We had an amazing experience with Erin. She was flexible and able to schedule our session on short notice. She came on time and fully prepared with all of her equipment. She was creative and used what we had on hand to take photos of us. She was great with our kids and managed to get some incredible shots of our 6 year old, who is notoriously difficult to photograph. She gave us a sneak peek within 24 hours and we had the full gallery within a few days. The photos turned out fantastic! We will treasure them for years to come. I highly recommended her and would use her again. Thanks, Erin!"
