Booking & Payments

HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTO SESSION WITH YOU?

Go to the Inquire page and fill out the simple form that goes directly to my email. There, we can start to chat about your vision and get the booking process started.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK?

Nope! I like to keep things simple. Once you confirm your session date, it's officially on my calendar and reserved just for you, no deposit needed. Your full session fee is due at the end of your session.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

If a payment plan would make things easier, just reach out and we’ll chat through the options. I’m happy to work with you to find something that fits your needs.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

The earlier, the better, especially for Senior Sessions! Most sessions can be booked a few months out, and I highly recommend doing just that if you're planning for senior portraits. It's my busiest season, and dates fill up fast.

Session Details

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED, AND DO YOU TRAVEL FOR SESSIONS?

I’m based in Lompoc, California, right in the heart of the Central Coast. But yes, I’m happy to hit the road! I travel all across the Central Coast for sessions. For locations outside of Lompoc, there’s just a small mileage fee of $0.60 per mile, round trip.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?

Most sessions last up to 90 minutes, or until we run out of that golden light. Sometimes we wrap up even sooner if we’ve captured everything we need. My goal is quality over quantity, without dragging things out unnecessarily.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY OF MY SESSION?

I’m all for a little breeze or cloud cover; it can actually add some magic to your photos! But if rain decides to crash the party, we’ll reschedule. I’ll be in touch to find a new day and time that works perfectly for both of us.

CAN I RESCHEDULE IF SOMETHING COMES UP?

Absolutely! If you need to reschedule, just give me at least 24 hours’ notice. We’ll find a new date that works for both of us, no problem.

During Your Session

CAN I BRING OUTFIT CHANGES?

Absolutely, please do! Outfit changes are a great way to add variety and show off different sides of your style. Just keep in mind that they do take up some session time, and since we’re racing the sun, it’s good to plan quick changes or keep them simple. I’m happy to help you plan ahead so we make the most of our time and the light!

CAN I BRING PROPS TO MY SESSION?

Yes, please! Props are a great way to add personality and meaning to your photos, whether it’s something sentimental, fun, or just uniquely you. Feel free to bring anything that helps tell your story. I don’t typically provide props myself, so if you’ve got something in mind, bring it along!

CAN I BRING MY PET TO THE SESSION?

Of course, furry (or feathered!) friends are always welcome! Just double-check that the location allows animals, and be sure to follow any posted guidelines. Pets can add so much personality and joy to your photos, just don’t forget the treats!

CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER FOR SUPPORT?

Absolutely! A familiar face can make all the difference. Whether they’re there to cheer you on, help with outfits and props, or keep an eye on flyaway hairs, extra hands are always welcome. Just make sure it’s someone who helps you feel comfortable and confident!

WHAT IF I FEEL AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?

You’re in good company; everyone feels that way at first! My goal is to help you relax, have fun, and forget the camera is even there. I use natural prompts and gentle direction so nothing feels forced. And trust me, if we’re talking awkward... I’ll out-awkward you any day of the week. So no pressure, just show up as you are!

DO YOU HELP WITH POSING?

Absolutely. I’ll guide you every step of the way—no need to worry about what to do with your hands! I’ll use simple prompts and gentle direction to help you look and feel your best. Unless you’re a total natural in front of the camera (which is pretty rare!), I’ve got you covered.

After Your Session

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

You’ll receive your fully edited photos in a private online gallery within 14 days of your session—sometimes sooner, depending on the season. If for any reason there’s a delay, I’ll always keep you in the loop. Good things take time, and I promise it’ll be worth the wait!

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

Your photos will be delivered in a private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you can easily view, download, share, and order prints—all in one place! Every image is fully edited and high-resolution, ready to be printed, posted, or framed on your wall.

Do you edit the photos?

Yes, absolutely. Every image is carefully edited in my signature style with a focus on natural light, true color, and clean composition. I’ll also remove small distractions and do light blemish cleanup—but I won’t make you look younger, thinner, or like someone else entirely. My goal is authenticity, not airbrushed perfection. You’re already beautifully, wonderfully you—and that’s exactly who I want to show.



DO YOU OFFER PRINTS OR ALBUMS?

Yes! Your online gallery makes it super easy to order professional-quality prints, albums, and a variety of other keepsakes. Whether you’re building a photo wall or creating a gift for Grandma, there are plenty of options to bring your images to life.

CAN I SHARE MY PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes, absolutely—share away! I just ask that you credit me when you post. I love seeing your favorite moments out in the world and getting to celebrate them with you!
