I’ve photographed Alex and little Nora before, but the last time... let’s just say Nora had other plans. Full toddler protest mode. This time? A complete 180.

Nora showed up happy, adorable, and on the move. I spent half the session jogging backward trying to keep up, until my knees reminded me they’re not made for sprints anymore.

With toddlers, the key is to move fast. Their attention spans are shorter than the time it takes to say “smile,” so we kept it light and quick. Thankfully, Alex was ready for it all, scooping up Nora mid-run, jumping in for cuddles, and somehow always in the right spot when the light hit just right.

We captured real giggles, quick squeezes, and that sweet bond between a mama and her little girl. The kind of photos you know will mean even more in a few years.

Thanks, Alex, for trusting me to photograph this season with Nora again.
