Scheduling a senior session at Pismo Beach on Labor Day felt like a gamble. My optimistic side thought that by 6:30 PM, the crowds would have surely dissipated. Spoiler: they hadn’t.
But part of being a photographer is making it work. Bianca made it easy. Despite sand falling from the pier, a sea of people, and seagulls trying to join the fun, she remained relaxed and adorable throughout the shoot.
I had her trek up and down the pier and across the beach, searching for spots that felt a little less crowded. It was worth it, though, as the sunset delivered full drama with no clouds, no fog, and no haze. Just a glowing sky that perfectly matched Bianca’s beauty.
