Palms sweating, pulse racing, my left foot firmly planted on the car floor... and no, I wasn’t nervous about the session itself. I was just white-knuckling it up Figueroa Mountain for the first time. Steep roads and no guardrails will do that to a person.
But once I got to the top? Totally worth it.
Brianna and Alfredo were warm, kind, and clearly so excited for what’s ahead. Brianna looked absolutely stunning, even with the kind of wind that could knock you sideways. Alfredo never left her side, checking in constantly and keeping her bundled up like the human equivalent of a space heater. Parenting instincts: already fully activated.
The wind was brutal, the mountain was no joke, but the photos, and this couple, made it more than worth the sweat.
Thank you, Brianna and Alfredo, for trusting me to capture this special time.
