There’s something especially fun about a session where everyone knows each other, and this one was exactly that. Brinley, Reece, and Sianna were a blast to photograph. So many laughs, inside jokes, and the kind of giggles that only come from years of friendship.

We met up at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, which was showing off as usual with its dreamy architecture and golden light. The vibe was high-energy, with lots of playful moments and a few quieter ones that reminded us all, yep, they’re actually graduating.

This session hit a little differently for me. These three have been close friends with my daughter for years, which made the whole thing feel personal. Watching them celebrate such a huge milestone together? Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it.
