It was my first time taking senior photos in Solvang, and I have to say, the backdrop is pretty impressive. Cora’s session kicked off at a coffee shop where she enjoyed a hot cup of coffee while sitting by a sunny window, soaking in the eclectic decor of this trendy spot. After that, we strolled over to the Farmers Market, snapping photos of her amongst the local vendors showcasing their goods.
Then we wandered around, searching for cool corners and bricked backgrounds. We stumbled upon a retro music shop, and as soon as I saw Cora in there, I couldn’t help but think of Tori Amos. Turns out, when I mentioned it, her mom nodded in agreement—Cora, on the other hand, had no idea who I was talking about. Ah, kids these days.
I really enjoyed this session; it gave me the chance to be creative and highlight our unique little corner of California. Thank you, Cora, for trusting me to capture this special time.
