Oh, how excited I was to squeeze in one more senior session.
I thought my season had officially wrapped, but then Caytlin’s mom booked a session, and naturally, there was a small happy dance involved.
They chose Oceano Dunes for her senior portraits, and my first thought was, “More sand.” And yes, there was plenty of it. But somewhere along the way, we ended up at the same beautiful beach spot I used for Camille’s session, and honestly, it may have officially become one of my favorites.
I was not prepared for the full list of accomplishments Caytlin wanted to include. This girl has done a lot, and we had so much fun figuring out how to work those pieces into her photos in a way that felt natural and true to her. There were a few awkward moments, plenty of wind, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
But that’s usually where the good stuff happens.
Caytlin, thank you for trusting me to capture this season for you. It was such a joy.
