Andrew is the other half of Ashlie’s twin duo from a few sessions back. For his senior session, he was excited to showcase his wrestling, football, and especially his pristine truck. We kicked things off in the Cabrillo wrestling room to capture some moody shots that really highlight the athletic vibe he was after. Afterwards, we ventured into the boys' locker room—um, well, let's just say the smell hit me like a freight train, but we did what we had to do to grab some cool shots. And of course I complained and only breathed through my mouth while Andrew looked at me like I was a little over-the-top. Thankfully, we found our way to a clean, well-lit part of the locker room that smelled less like old socks.
Once we wrapped up in the locker room, we headed over to the Santa Barbara Courthouse, where Andrew wanted to show off his pride and joy—his truck. Seriously, it was spotless. I don’t know how he managed to keep it bug-free after the drive, while my own car looked like it had gone through a bug apocalypse. Now, that’s a secret I need to learn.
Andrew brought a fun energy to the session, and even though he started out a bit stoic, I managed to coax a few smiles out of him.
