Thanksgiving on the Central Coast means family, friends, and enough food to feed a small village. And let’s not forget the weather, because while most people are layering up in flannels, beanies, and long johns, we’re out here sweating through those same layers in 80 degree heat. The things we do for fashion.

It won’t last long though. Soon we’ll be thrilled to call 60 degrees a cold snap. But in the meantime, I got to spend a few hours with the Baxter family at their home in Lompoc, capturing sweet moments and real connections in our not so fall like fall.

Here’s to a Thanksgiving that’s warm in all the right ways. Thank you, Baxter family, for trusting me to capture this special time.
