This session had to be rescheduled more times than I'd like to admit, but we finally squeezed it in between rainstorms. The unpredictable weather actually gave us some interesting colors and lighting for Damien's photos.

We kicked off the session at the Lompoc High School track because Damien wanted to showcase his track accomplishments. After grabbing some dynamic shots there, we explored a few nearby spots for more photos. Next, we headed over to Miguelito Park to wrap things up.

Now, let me tell you, Damien was a tough nut to crack. He nailed the serious look, which is great and all, but I know the parents love the smiles. So, I pulled out my best awful jokes to get him to lighten up. After what felt like an eternity, he finally cracked a smile. I’m still not sure if it was my jokes or just sheer relief that we were done, but hey, I got it and that was enough.

Thank you, Damien, for trusting me to capture this special time.
