After several reschedules, I was so glad to finally get to take Fabian’s senior portraits. He and his mom had the entire route mapped out, which I totally appreciated since I had only photographed at La Purisima Golf Course once before. With mom in the golf cart behind us, Fabian drove me all over the course. I asked a ton of questions, which I usually do when I’m curious about things.
One thing that caught me off guard was the number of deer grazing throughout the session. They were constantly photobombing, and I spent a good amount of time trying to edit them out of his shots. Fabian was a true gentleman and answered all my questions—even when he wasn't sure, he’d politely say, “I’m not sure about that…”
