Garrytt traveled all the way from Arroyo Grande for his senior portraits, which made the session feel that much more special. I’ve started to really enjoy Ken Adam Park as a backdrop, and it turned out to be perfect for Garrytt. His dad had mentioned some props Garrytt wanted to include, like his letterman’s jacket, a shot put, a discus, and, of course, a football.

But what they didn’t clue me in on was Garrytt's dog, who made her entrance in the most impressive way—just being her obedient self. The way she looked at Garrytt for reassurance and an occasional pat stole the show. Honestly, she was the real star of the session. And we can't forget about the sky that day. It was unusually stunning, thanks to some odd weather system rolling through.

Thank you, Garrytt, for trusting me to capture this special time.
