The weather behaved, which is about the best outcome you can hope for when scheduling anything near the coast. I mean it was windy, but that's behaving for us.

Maternity sessions often involve a fair amount of walking through sand while trying to look comfortable when you are very much growing an entire human. The Rios family managed it all with good humor and without complaint. It is always a relief when the people are easier to work with than the wind.

There was something especially sweet about photographing this season for their family. I've captured so many milestones with these two every one of them seems more special to me, this is the part of the job I love the most.

Thank you, Rios family, for trusting me to preserve this time for you.
