I've had the privilege of photographing Maddie and Art for a few years now, and it's always a good time. There’s something special about seeing clients return year after year, and knowing you’ve become a trusted part of their milestones. Maddie is adorable and always full of joy, with giggles that are totally contagious. And Art? He’s just fun to mess with. Their playful banter and chemistry make every session feel more like catching up with friends than work.

This time around, it was their maternity session at The Mission Club. I love maternity sessions. Even though most moms-to-be don’t feel their best, it’s such an important time to document. There’s this excitement in the air, a kind of calm before the chaos. Maddie had that glow, even if she didn’t feel it, and the way Art looked at her, you could tell this baby is already so loved.

Congratulations, Maddie and Art. You two are going to be incredible parents. Your kid is lucky, truly. Thank you for trusting me to photograph this new chapter. I can’t wait to see where life takes your growing family.
