I didn’t think a cap and gown session could be this much fun, but Maddie and Kenzie proved me wrong in the best way. These two showed up ready for anything. They were quick to laugh, totally up for every idea I threw at them, and had a few of their own, too.

We shot at The Mission Club, which gave us plenty of variety to work with. It was one of those perfect golden evenings, and the light hit just right. The girls leaned into every prompt and didn’t take themselves too seriously, which is exactly the kind of energy I love. Their friendship and excitement about what’s ahead made the whole session feel light and celebratory.

What got me most, though, was that little reminder that graduation really is around the corner. They’re at the edge of something new, and as much fun as this session was, there’s a tinge of bittersweet in knowing they’re heading off to new places.

Maddie and Kenzie, I can’t wait to see what’s next for both of you. Thanks for making this session such a good time.
