Referrals from clients mean the world, and capturing the Murtha-Henderson family was a reminder of just how much trust they place in me with their memories. I mean, how could I not be a little obsessed with those two adorable girls? The red hair was seriously something else. They had enough energy to power a small city, which made for a fun challenge as I chased them around, documenting this crazy but beautiful phase of childhood.
The rest of the family matched their enthusiasm, laughing right along with the girls. It felt like a joyful whirlwind, and I'm grateful I got to freeze these moments in time for a family visiting from out of town. The weather played nice, too; the sky was stunning, and let’s just say the resulting photos felt heavenly—though maybe ‘heavenly’ isn’t the right word since this was all about the lively energy.
