And this is where it happened. Right here. Right at this very photo session. I left my reflector. I bring it everywhere and barely use it, but still, I bring it. I toss it to the side, walk off, then stop, sigh, and go back to grab it. But not this time. This time, I left it. Someone probably found it and has no idea what it is. Oh well.

The Perez family, on the other hand, was a joy. I first photographed Jordyn for her senior session and instantly clicked with her and her mom. When they reached out for a family session, I was already in.

Miguelito Park gave us that pretty filtered light through the trees, and once everyone settled into my usual “just trust me” routine, the vibe was easy and fun. They got used to my prompts, my pauses, my little mutterings about light and angles, and then it all just worked. I caught side eyes, quiet jokes, and that subtle closeness that makes family sessions feel real.

Thank you, Perez family, for trusting me to capture this special time.
