And I’m back! After an 8-week break, I finally had a camera back in my hands, and I got to kick things off with the Cedeno-Serna Family at The Mission Club.
We didn’t ease into it either. We started with a bang, or rather, a skinned knee. Amaya took a little tumble early on but bounced back like a pro. One bandage later, and she was back to being the star of the show. The wind had its own ideas about who was in charge of the session, but this family showed up with warmth, smiles, and the kind of love you can’t fake.
It’s been so long since I last shot a session that my arm is actually sore. Turns out photography muscles are a real thing, and mine forgot how to work. But between Amaya’s sass, the laughter, and the way this family connected so easily, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to get back into it.
Thank you, Cedeno-Serna Family, for trusting me to capture this special time.
